                  Impact of Pietrangelo, Barrie signings

-- Alex Pietrangelo signed a seven-year contract with the Vegas Golden Knights. This move solidifies Pietrangelo as a top 10 fantasy defenseman with exposure to valuable forwards Mark Stone, Max Pacioretty, Jonathan Marchessault, Reilly Smith and William Karlsson. The Golden Knights were among the most valuable fantasy teams last season and could be even better this season with Pietrangelo.

-- Tyson Barrie signed a one-year contract with the Edmonton Oilers. This could be the best-case fantasy scenario for Barrie to bounce back to his previous top 20 form among defensemen this season with likely first power-play exposure to the top two point producers in the NHL, forwards Leon Draisaitl (led League with 110 points last season) and Connor McDavid (97, second).
